The Carroll McDonalds closed their dining room on Thursday as work begins to bring their customers an updated, modern look. During the remodeling, the drive-thru will remain open. The new design will give more options to those who are looking to order at their own pace with digital self-order kiosks. They will, however, still offer front counter service as an ordering option. After reopening, guest meals will be delivered to tables by crew members, allowing for the ability to relax and enjoy a more custom dining experience. This O’Brien Family McDonald’s will be placing an even higher emphasis on hospitality, focusing on greeting customers, assisting with technology and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment. The changes will require more team members, so they will also be hiring prior to reopening of the dining room, anticipated in mid-April.
