Two Des Moines men, wanted on Polk County warrants, were arrested on Sunday after being spotted at a gas station by an off-duty Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office Deputy. According to initial reports, 18-year-old Jackson Riley Niccum and 20-year-old John Thomas Anderson were at a gas station in Panora, and were followed by the deputy until the Panora Police Department and the Dallas and Guthrie County Sheriff’s Offices could make a traffic stop on Highway 44. The two men were wanted on several felony weapons warrants at the time of their arrest. They were transported to the Dallas County jail and held on $2,000 cash bonds each.
