The Carroll County Board of Supervisors has two meetings slated to take place next week. Their regularly scheduled meeting begins at 9 a.m. Monday, June 18 in the meeting room at the Carroll County Courthouse. The board will begin the meeting with reports regarding the Secondary Roads Department. The board will review several utility permit requests and discuss the development of a FEMA procurement policy. Once finished with secondary roads issues, the supervisors will move on to consider approving plats and a special liquor license request for the Hy-Vee RPM Car Show. The board will close out the meeting with manure management annual updates, committee reports and discussion on tax abatements. On Wednesday, representatives from Shive Hattery, the architectural firm leading the new jail construction project, will meet with the supervisors to discuss how plans are progressing.
