A Cedar Rapids woman was arrested in Carroll Saturday, charged with second-degree theft. The Carroll Police Department reports that 33-year-old Miranda Reed has been accused of writing a check on an account that did not belong to her, purchasing goods in the amount of more than $3,000 at Bomgaars in Carroll. Reed was taken into custody after the fraud was reported at approximately 12:33 p.m. on June 29.
