No injuries were reported and only minor damage was done when a trailer came unhooked from a vehicle Monday. The Carroll Police Department was called to the scene in the 600 block of East 12th Street at approximately 6:50 p.m. The initial investigation revealed that a 2004 GMC Envoy pulling a trailer, driven by 67-year-old John Peterson of Carroll, was westbound on 12th Street when the trailer came unhitched. It continued to travel westbound before striking a 2013 Ford Fusion and 2012 Chevrolet Equinox that were parked in a driveway. No charges were reported.
