No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident in Carroll Saturday morning. The Carroll Police Department responded to the scene at the intersection of 5th and Clark Streets at approximately 11:21 a.m. A 2011 Ford Explorer, driven by 40-year-old Barbara Rose Thompson of Stuart, was northbound on Clark. At the same time, a 2004 Ford F-150, driven by 64-year-old Bruce Christensen of Audubon was westbound on 5th. Christensen stopped for the sign, but then proceeded into the intersection, striking the Thompson vehicle, which was disabled and towed from the scene. Christensen was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
