Travel Limited On Audubon County’s Pheasant Avenue While Pavement Patching Work Is Underway

Work on a four-mile stretch of county highway east of Audubon began this (Monday) morning and is expected to affect motorists until the end of the month. Traffic controls are now in place on Pheasant Avenue (County Road N36) between 190th Street and Highway 44. Crews are currently in the process of patching damaged areas of the road, such as cracks, ruts and potholes. Travel will be restricted to a single lane while the project is underway. Construction is tentatively scheduled to end on Wednesday, July 31 and will be largely dependent on weather conditions. Questions or concerns can be directed to the Audubon County Road Department at 712-563-4286.
