Two firework retailers in Carroll were issued citations for allegedly selling fireworks to minors prior to Independence Day. The Carroll Police Department was conducting compliance checks on Wednesday, July 3 at the stands throughout town and issued the first citation at approximately 10:53 a.m. to 70-year-old David William Isgrig of Pleasantville, who is employed at the stand in the 2000 block of Kittyhawk Avenue. The second citation was issued at approximately 11:30 a.m. at Bellino Fireworks in the 700 block of Monterey Drive to 34-year-old Duce Maria Del Angel of Carroll. Both individuals have been charged with selling consumer fireworks to someone less than 18 years of age, a simple misdemeanor. Isgrig and Del Angel are scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing at the Carroll County Courthouse on July 18.
