The regularly scheduled weekly meeting of the Carroll County Board of Supervisors will take place Monday morning, and they have a full agenda to work through. Their first items of business are to review a fireworks permit request in the 17000 block of 130th Street, and approve plats and the Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Annual Report. The board then moves on to review a semi-annual report from Carroll County Treasurer, Jean Seidl. The supervisors will also briefly discuss the job description for an IT Technician position. At 9:30 a.m., the board will open a public hearing for a construction permit request from Square Corner Farms in Arcadia Township. Another public hearing will begin at 10 a.m. on the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract and estimated cost of the Carroll County jail project. The meeting concludes with reports from county engineer, Dave Paulson, regarding secondary roads and committee reports. The meeting begins at 9 a.m. Monday in the boardroom at the Carroll County Courthouse. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
