Around $20,000 In Damage When Truck Goes Through Carrollton Centre Wall

There was an estimated $20,000 in damage done to the west side of the Carrollton Centre following a single-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon. The Carroll Police Department was called to the scene at approximately 3:23 p.m. The initial investigation revealed that 79-year-old Loren Paul Nelson of Denison had hit the gas pedal instead of the brake on his 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, jumped the curb and struck the side of the building. Nelson was not injured in the incident, but there was an estimated $3,000 in damage to the pickup.
