Availa Bank of Carroll hosted the latest Chamber of Commerce Night Shift event last Wednesday, and one of the features was a welcome to Sean Haluska, who has been named Central Region Manager and Carroll Market President. Haluska joined the organization, then known as Carroll County State Bank, on Nov. 1, 2009 right out of college. Having lived in Carroll since he was in the second grade, the only time Haluska has left his hometown was to attend Indian Hills Community College and then Iowa State University, earning a bachelor of science degree in finance. Haluska then went on to study with the Iowa Bankers Association Ag Credit and Commercial Lending Schools. He serves on the Chamber Ag Golf Outing Committee and has previously sat on the boards of the Carroll Area Child Care Center and Preschool and the United Way of Carroll. Area residents are invited to stop by the Carroll branch of Availa Bank and say hello and congratulations to Haluska.
