An Audubon County road, which closed in spring for a culvert replacement project, reopened this (Wednesday) morning. According to officials, a 1,000-foot stretch of 250th Street about three miles southeast of Hamlin between Mockingbird and Nighthawk Avenues is now open to thru traffic. Work to replace a damaged culvert began on March 14 after heavy rains washed out the roadway and made the street impassible. Questions or concerns can be directed to the Audubon County Secondary Roads Department at 712-563-4286.
