An altercation on a gravel road between Scranton and Coon Rapids in the early morning hours of Saturday, Sept. 7 resulted in the arrest of two Scranton men on Thursday evening. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office reports they and the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office were notified of the incident after the fact, in which two young men reported being stopped and having guns pointed at them on a D Avenue, near 310th Street at approximately 12:55 a.m. These two told officers they were driving to Coon Rapids from Scranton in separate trucks and came across another vehicle on the road with lights on and a man, identified as 57-year-old Brian Hunter, standing beside it. According to the two young men, Tristan Wiles and Bryce Block, Hunter waived a shotgun and fired it into the air as he ordered them out of the truck.
