A Storm Lake man who was wanted on three counts of felony, third-degree sexual abuse has been apprehended in Minnesota. The Storm Lake Police Department reports they initiated an investigation into claims of the alleged assault of a 12-year-old female on three separate occasions between Sept. 11, 2018 and Jan. 6, 2019. At the time of the report, authorities were unable to locate the suspect, 18-year-old Toua Yang. Arrest warrants on the three class C felonies were issued and Yang was entered into a nationwide data base as a wanted man. This (Friday) morning, at approximately 1:32 a.m., Yang was located and arrested in St. Paul, Minn. He is being held in the Ramsey County jail on a $10,000 bond, awaiting extradition to Iowa. The Storm Lake PD was assisted in the investigation by the St. Paul PD and the Child Advocacy Center in Sioux City.
