No injuries and only minor damages were reported in a two-vehicle accident Monday in Carroll. The Carroll Police Department responded to the intersection of 11th Street and Grant Road at approximately 8:16 a.m. A 2011 Ford Fusion, driven by 82-year-old Kay Teague of Carroll, was southbound on Grant, followed by 18-year-old Kaylynn Kruckenberg of Lytton in a 2006 Chevrolet Impala. Kruckenberg told authorities her shoe became stuck on the accelerator, which caused her to strike the Teague vehicle. Kruckenberg was cited for failure to maintain control. On Tuesday, traffic was diverted around the intersection of Clark and 7th Streets at around 11:15 a.m. due to another two-vehicle, personal-injury accident.
