An Earling woman was injured when a deer struck the side of her car Wednesday night south of Carroll. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office reports that 33-year-old Lisa Marie Balsley was southbound in a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox on U.S. Highway 71 near 230th Street when the deer ran out of the ditch and struck the driver’s side door.
