Warren Clark of Lake City

Warren Clark, 90, died Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Shady Oaks Care Center, Lake City. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 9 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lake City. Celebrant will be Father Lynn Bruch and burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lake City. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City with a vigil prayer service at 7 p.m.
Warren William Clark was born on May 31, 1929 in Lake City, IA to Clarence and Florence (Otto) Clark. He graduated high school in 1947 and went on to attend Iowa State University for brief period of time. Warren was a member of the United States Army from 1951-1953 and served in the Korean War. On April 10, 1956 he married Shirley Bock at Sacred Heart Church in Templeton, IA. Warren was a longtime farmer and cattle feeder in the Lake City area. He was a member of the American Legion, Lions Club (past member), Cattlemen’s Association, Co-op, local bank and hospital boards, and St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lake City.
Warren is survived by his wife Shirley of Lake City; daughters Vivian (Gary) Brock of Dunlap, Linda (Roger) Coon of Lohrville, and Beth (Kelly) McCarter of Lake City; son David (Dawn) Clark of Lake City; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers Jack (Louise) Clark of Everly, Duane (Janet) Clark of Guthrie Center; sister Kathleen Golliher of Queen Valley, AZ; and sister-in-law
Bernadette Clark of Guthrie Center. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Robert Clark; sister Phyllis Becker; brothers-in-law Ben Golliher and Robert Becker.
