The Fred F. and Norman J. Brunning Breda American Legion Post #607’s annual gun raffle fundraiser is underway. Member, Bob Fasbender, says this started as an idea for a single event, but has remained a favorite for many years.
Instead of raffle tickets, the Legion members sell calendars.
The raffle will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Legion’s annual free-will offering game feed.
Attendees can play blackjack and dice games during the drawings. They will hold five drawings per hour from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. There will be a cash bar and other prizes given away throughout the night. Calendars are available from any American Legion post member, from the Sons of the American Legion members or at Michael’s Shoes in Carroll. The cost is $40 each and these can be purchased right up until the drawings begin.
