A Coon Rapids man’s truck was totaled after hitting a cow in the roadway Wednesday morning. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on 330th Street near Highway 25, north of Bayard, at approximately 6:06 a.m. Twenty-four-year-old Cody Kunecke was eastbound on 330th in a 2005 Ford F-150 when he hit the cow. The owner of the animal was notified and it was removed. Kunecke was cited for driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without a registration card or license plate.
