The Carroll County Board of Supervisors have scheduled a special meeting on Thursday, Jan. 2. This first meeting of 2020 is for the purpose of naming the chair and vice chair of the board as well as to announce appointments to the other county commissions, committees and boards. The agenda for the 9 a.m. meeting also includes the adoption of resolutions for special moving permits, fixed charges, destruction of records and the naming of official county newspapers. This meeting is open to the public.
