The Carroll Fire Department was dispatched to Garden View Assisted Living in the 500 block of Maple Street at approximately 12:25 p.m. today (Monday). Chief Greg Schreck says there was no fire found in the building, however, a sprinkler head had malfunctioned. This caused water to be discharged into one of the resident apartments. No estimate of damages has been released.
