Area residents are invited to enjoy a tasty morning meal and support our local veterans while they’re at it during the Glidden American Legion Post #386’s pancake breakfast Sunday morning. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., members will be serving up pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage for a free will donation at the Glidden American Legion Hall on Idaho Street. Commander, Doug Cunningham, says that by stopping in for a bite to eat, you will be showing support for the community’s servicemen and women.

He adds a portion of the money raised goes to support community projects and local youth, including sending young men from Glidden-Ralston High School to Boys State every year.
