Texas Congressman, Joaquin Castro, and former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Julian Castro, will be campaigning on behalf of Elizabeth Warren in Iowa this week. Julian Castro ended his campaign for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination at the beginning of the year, coming out about a week later in support of Warren. Congressman Castro endorsed Warren on Jan. 14 and both are now dedicated to supporting her in advance of the Feb. 3 Iowa Caucuses. The two will be in the Carroll Broadcasting listening area this week, with Representative Joaquin Castro holding a meet-and-greet at the Iowa for Warren field office in Carroll. The noon event on Wednesday, Jan. 22 will be held at 210 E. 5th St., Suite 4. He will then travel to Denison and be joined by Julian at another meet-and-greet beginning at 2 p.m. at El Jimador Mexican Restaurant.
