Budget season continues next week for the Carroll County Board of Supervisors. At their meeting Monday, they with hear Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 funding requests from the Carroll County Attorney’s Office, Carroll County Veterans Affairs and the Family Crisis Center. Following these requests, the board will hold a public hearing concerning an amendment to the FY 2020 budget. They will close the meeting with discussions on General Assistance funding and the overall budget for the next fiscal year, receive the semi-annual report from the County Substance Abuse Prevention program, and review manure management annual updates and committee reports. The supervisors convene at 9 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 27 in the meeting room at the courthouse. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
