The 10 Squared Women of Guthrie County announced today (Monday) their latest donation of at least $10,000 is going to the Guthrie Activity Center. The activity center in Guthrie Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity and is operated by a volunteer board of directors whose goal is to provide a quality space for meetings, family reunions, community gatherings and more for Guthrie County residents. The board is nearing the completion of a capital campaign to remodel the interior of the structure, and the donation will be used to help finish the project. “We are extremely grateful to the 10 Squared Women for their generous donation. The updates to this facility will have a lasting impact on the Center and ensure it will meet the needs of our county for years to come,” says Board Secretary, Dennis Flanery. 10 Squared Women of Guthrie County was formed in January of 2017 and has donated more than $130,000 to local organizations and projects.
