Mass of the Christian Burial for 88-year-old Gerald “Doc” Schreck of Templeton will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Church in Templeton with burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm on Monday at the Sacred Heart Church in Templeton where there will be a prayer service at 7 pm. Under the Honor Guard : Templeton Knights of Columbus Council #1972 and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Assembly # 3467183. Visitation will resume again Tuesday morning at 9:30 am at the Church. The Ohde Funeral Home in Manning is in charge of the arrangements. Gerald is survived by his wife, Doris of Templeton; his children: Allan Schreck of Kansas, Timothy Schreck of Ankeny, Stephen Schreck of Missouri, Philip Schreck of South Dakota, Annette Schreck of Arizona, John Schreck of Mississippi; 15 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
