Carroll Police Chief, Brad Burke, is reporting a single weather-related traffic incident so far this morning within the city limits, but there have been multiple ones throughout the county. Carroll County Sheriff, Ken Pingrey, says they have had reports of five accidents, mostly cars sliding into the ditches. Roadways are snow covered and slick and everyone is urged to use caution, slow down and leave plenty of distance between yourself and other vehicles. Plows are out, but with the continued snowfall, they are only able to maintain. Clearing will be done once the precipitation stops. Burke also wants to remind those within the city limits that the snow ordinance is in effect and there is no on-street parking until the snow stops and the roads are cleared.
