Carroll Supervisors Get Break From Budget Discussions, Return To More Routine Topics Monday

The Carroll County Board of Supervisor have been holding special budget workshops for Fiscal Year 2021, but at Monday’s meeting, there will be a shift back to more of their regular business items. Secondary Roads will present a department update and discuss drain issues while IT, GIS and Planning and Zoning will present their quarterly report. The supervisors will take time to then review options for filling the GIS position when Carl Wilburn retires. The recorder will present her quarterly report and the council will then discuss appointment to the Treasurer’s position that will be vacated upon the resignation of Jean Seidl effective July 1. They will then review for approval manure management annual updates before entering into a closed session for union negotiations. The meeting will begin promptly at 9 a.m. in the board room at the Carroll County Courthouse. The public is encouraged to attend.
