Quinn Robert Gregory, age 19, of Glidden passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 1, 2020.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church in Glidden with Rev. Joyce Webb officiating. Casket bearers will be Ian Schoenherr, Collin Wiederin, Cauy Brotherson, Jacob Magner, Zach Vos, Nate Hermsen, Braeden Schoenherr, Austin Hulsing, and Daniel Thooft. Burial will be in the Dillavou Cemetery near Ralston.
Friends may call at the First United Methodist Church in Glidden from 5 – 7 P.M. on Thursday evening. The casket will be moved to the First United Methodist Church in Glidden at 9:30 A.M. on Friday where an additional visitation will resume until 10:15 A.M. Born on December 8, 2000 in Carroll, Iowa. Quinn grew up in Glidden and graduated from Glidden – Ralston High School in 2019. Quinn was employed by Scranton Manufacturing. Quinn loved all things to do with farming. He enjoyed trapping, trap shooting, ice fishing, golfing, coon hunting, going for rides in his truck, hanging out with his friends, and spending time with his new dog Hank. People who greatly influenced Quinn’s life included his Grandpa Gregory, Butch Gregory, Jeremy Thooft, Rod Ware, Eric Brincks, and Travis Bowman.
Quinn is survived by his mother Nicki Gregory Hoyle (Bob) of Glidden; his sister Megan (Grant Arndorfer) of Ames; his step-sister Abby Jacobson (Matt) and their son Leo of Churdan; his maternal grandparents Robert and Mary Ann Gregory of Ralston; his dad Bill Bluml, of Huxley, IA; his aunts and uncles: Pam Quigley (Steve) of Iowa City, IA, Butch Gregory (Barb) of Glidden, Vicki Stork of West Des Moines, IA, Lar Gregory (Maria) of Fort Myers, FL; family friend Zach Vos of Scranton; and many cousins.
Quinn was preceded in death by his uncle Lee Stork, his cousin Zach Stork, and his paternal grandparents Jack and Lois Bluml.
