The Senior Life Solutions program at Manning Regional Healthcare Center (MRHC) has been named a finalist for the National Program of the Year Award. “We are very humbled and surprised to receive this award,” says MRHC’s Senior Life Solutions program director, Janet Brus, RN. “We love working with the patients, knowing we’re making a difference in people’s lives and when the patients can come here and meet new friends it’s really a warm feeling.” Senior Life Solutions is an intensive outpatient group therapy program designed to meet the unique needs of senior adults struggling with symptoms of depression and anxiety that can sometimes be age-related. There are currently 90 Senior Life Solutions programs in 26 states. This year, five individuals and programs received top recognition and 10 were named a finalist for demonstrating outstanding patient care, excellent comprehension and execution of compliance regulations and strong community engagement.
