As the number of presumptive positive cases of Covid-19, the novel coronavirus, continue to rise in Iowa, St. Anthony Regional Hospital is asking family members and guests to limit visits unless absolutely necessary. Any individuals who are experiencing identified symptoms of a cough, fever and/or shortness of breath, who have been exposed to anyone with those symptoms or who have recently traveled outside of the country are asked to NOT visit patients at the hospital or residents at the St. Anthony Nursing Home or Garden View Assisted Living. In their ongoing efforts to ensure safety of residents and tenants, it may become necessary to prohibit all visitors in the event the virus spreads through Carroll County. St. Anthony officials and Carroll County Public Health will continue to provide updates as they become available from the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH).
