Des Moines Area Community College leaders announced late Wednesday that they will be taking preventative measures following spring break to try to mitigate exposure to the Covid-19 virus. Provost of the Carroll campus, Joel Lundstrom, says they have all been watching the news closely and have legitimate concerns for the well-being of their students and staff.

All existing online classes will resume on Monday, March 23 after spring break. When it comes to certain courses, face-to-face learning is necessary and Lundstrom says they are working to limit exposure yet still maintain the quality learning experience for students.
