As of late Wednesday, Manning Regional Healthcare Center (MRHC) has enacted a temporary visitor restriction in their efforts to protect patients, families and healthcare workers from the Covid-19 outbreak. Only immediate family members will be allowed to visit patients in the hospital and they must have been free from the symptoms of illness including fever, sore throat, cough, diarrhea, vomiting or a runny nose for the prior 48 hours. All visitors will also be required to wash their hands with soap and water or use alcohol-based foam or gel sanitizer upon entering or exiting a patient’s room. MRHC will make any changes to these temporary restrictions as deemed necessary.
