Manning Regional Healthcare Center (MRHC) is pleased to announce the addition of dermatological services in Manning. Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, Abby Behrens, will be at the hospital on the first Wednesday of every month to offer medical and cosmetic dermatology services that address skin disorders, acne and acne scarring, eczema, skin cancer screenings, rashes, signs of aging and wrinkles and even excess sweating. Behrens also reminds patients they should not only take preventative measures to protect their skin from the sun, they should also perform routine checks and monitor any irregular moles or freckles. MRHC CEO, Linn Block, says it can be challenging to recruit specialty provides to rural Iowa, and they are grateful to have Behrens join their team. “We are very excited that we are able to continue expanding our service offerings and are now able to offer dermatology services right here in Manning,” Block says.
