Starting tomorrow (Wednesday), the Carroll Community School District (CCSD) will begin providing meals and snacks for students impacted by the four-week closure due to the coronavirus. From 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., anyone zero to 18 years of age can pick up a lunch and snack on the west side of Fairview Elementary near the front office awning. School officials stress this is a grab-and-go program only. Staff will hand the bagged meal to individuals in their vehicle when they arrive. For now, lunches will be provided this week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. They are encouraging families and students to notify the district if they are interested in participating by contacting organizers using the information included with this story on our website. The menu for the rest of the week can also be found below.
