City of Carroll Closes All Buildings To Public. Proclamation Details Services

Following Tuesday’s issuance of a State of Public Health Disaster Emergency by Gov. Kim Reynolds, Carroll Mayor, Dr. Eric P. Jensen, issued a proclamation. For at least the next two weeks, all Carroll city buildings will be closed to the public. Staff members will continue to work and will be available by phone at 792-1000 or email at cityofcarroll@cityofcarroll.com. They are encouraging individuals to conduct their business via email, phone or through the website, a link to which is included below. New utility service customers will need to call the water department directly. All payments for city utilities, however, are expected on the associated due date. Processing fees for online and phone credit card payments will be waived during this closure. The drop box may also be utilized to make payments. All public and private events scheduled at shelter houses, the public library and the rec center are cancelled as well as all parks and recreation youth and adult programming, sporting leagues and classes. The city will provide a refund or credit of fees. The Carroll Police Department has suspended fingerprinting services, ride-alongs, building tours and vehicle inspections. Fire and law enforcement operations are in full force with emergency planning protocols in place.
