Effective this morning (Wednesday), the Greene County Law Enforcement Center will be closed to the public for the near future. Staff will still be working behind these closed doors and 24/7 coverage in their operations will be unaffected. They will be available by phone for non-emergency issues at 515-386-2136. Because the front desk is closed down, residents will not be able to renew or obtain a permit to carry or purchase. Deadlines will be extended for renewals if these permits expire during the shutdown. There will also be no fingerprinting services during the closure.
