As of Wednesday evening the Carroll County court system remains open. With the closure of the courthouse to the general public, those who have business with any of the courts will need to arrive a little early to be screened for entry. There is a sign posted at the main doors of the courthouse with a phone number to be called. The caller will be asked several questions before a staff member will provide entry into the building. Anyone with questions or concerns is asked to contact the Clerk of Court’s office at 792-4327.
