Carroll County is one of the best counties in the state at social distancing according to a recent report from a data analytics firm. According to cell phone data provided by Unacast, a company that generally focuses on tracking consumer behaviors, county residents have reduced their mobility by over 55 percent compared to before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. This puts Carroll in the top five percent of Iowa counties at an “A” rating along with Winneshiek, Mitchell, Adams and Dickinson. On average, Iowans reduced their distance traveled by only 29 percent, well below the national average of 39 percent. A link to the full report can be found included below.
