Enforcement Deadline For REAL IDs Moved To Oct. 1, 2021

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has pushed the REAL ID enforcement deadline back a year. According to Acting Secretary, Chad Wolf, the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and national emergency declaration required the change. Wolf says,

34 New COVID-19 Cases In Iowa; State’s Total Now 179

The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) reports 34 additional cases of COVID-19 were confirmed this (Thursday) morning. With these new numbers, the state’s total has now reached 179. Johnson and Polk Counties remain the hot spots
