The Carroll Public Library has announced they will be offering curbside pickup for patrons while their facility is closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The service will be available from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning March 26. Movies, magazines and other specialty items are not eligible for curbside pickup, and there is a limit of five items per card with one pickup per week. Patrons can put desired items on hold until 2 p.m. on pickup days by using the library’s online catalog through users’ online accounts or by contacting them directly by phone at 792-3432 or email at info@carroll-library.org. Participants will be notified when items are available, and a pickup time will be scheduled. Users can also request staff make selections for them, but the library will not be making any exchanges at the time of pickup. In order to reduce the potential for COVID-19 spread, library staff will be wearing plastic gloves and face masks, and patrons are asked to remain in their vehicle while materials are delivered. Unfortunately, this service will not be offered on rainy days, and rules are subject to change.
