Gov. Kim Reynolds signed a new proclamation Tuesday evening extending some provisions of the declared State of Public Health Emergency through April 7. The proclamation continues regulatory relief for bars and restaurants that have been forced to close their doors allowing carry-out or delivery of alcoholic beverages. The order also gives county hospitals increased borrowing flexibility to sustain operations, permits corporate shareholder meetings to be conducted via technological means and temporarily suspends certification and renewal requirements for law enforcement officers. Unless terminated or extended by the governor, Iowa’s public health disaster emergency is still set to expire at 11:59 p.m. on April 16. The full proclamation can be found included below.
