As people rally around Carroll Tiger and Kuemper Knight seniors on the Sponsor a Senior Facebook page, families and friends of Glidden-Ralston’s class of 2020 are creating a cruise in their honor. This coming Friday, from 6 to about 6:30 p.m., everyone is asked to come out and park along Main Street with their flashers on to cheer for the graduates as they cruise down Main. One of the Organizers, Kent Brant, who graduated from Glidden, says there were three of them that wanted to do something special for the community. They came up with the idea first of the Corona Cruise and invited the entire community to come together and scoop the loop on Friday nights starting at 6:30 p.m. This senior tribute was then a natural extension of that.

Brant says they are also asking people to come to Friday night’s senior cruise prepared to show their support.

However, they are asking everyone to continue to practice physical distancing. The seniors will be trying to make two loops along Main so there will be plenty of photo opportunities for all. The Corona Cruise will then take place following from around 6:30 p.m. on.
