A Test Iowa drive-through testing site is scheduled to open this weekend in Denison. According to Carroll County Public Health Director, Nikki Schwering, the site will begin operations in the Denison Middle School parking lot tomorrow (Saturday), May 9. As of Friday, Crawford County has confirmed 149 positive COVID-19 cases. Testing is open to people who have been pre-approved by taking a brief online assessment at www.TestIowa.com, a link to which is also included below this story. Up to 3,000 tests are being administered daily through Test Iowa at multiple locations, including Denison, Sioux City, Des Moines and sites throughout the state. Local hospitals and clinics continue to provide testing to patients as well. Anybody experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, such as cough, difficulty breathing, fever or chills, should contact their primary care physician directly for guidance.
