Lisa Kay (Maiden) Jensen, age 52, of Templeton, IA, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Manning Regional Health Care in Manning, IA.
A private family funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Rev. Cindy Johnson of St. John Lutheran Church in Carroll officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Templeton at a later date.
A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held at a later date at The Still in Templeton when circumstances permit.

Lisa was born on October 11, 1967 in Davenport, IA, and was the daughter of Paul and DeLoris (Christensen) Maiden. Her family moved to Carroll when Lisa was ten years old and she graduated from Carroll High School in 1986. Lisa attended LaJames College in Ft. Dodge for cosmetology. She worked several jobs over the years and most recently for Halbur Enterprises and part time for the Still in Templeton. Lisa has made her home in Templeton with her companion and soulmate Mike Walsh for the past sixteen years. Lisa enjoyed reading, going for rides in the countryside, and socializing with her many good friends.
Lisa is survived by Mike Walsh of Templeton and his children: Brant Walsh (Maria) of Shakopee, MN, and Corie Walsh of Eagan, MN; her siblings: Michele Perry (Steve) of Chatfield, MN, Gary Maiden (Patty) of Bettendorf, IA, Tim Maiden (Kathy) of Buffalo, MN, and Paula Moriarty (Kirk) of Sergeant Bluff, IA; three nieces: Kristin Perry, Emily Reinholdt (Mike), Jensen Maiden (Tucker Grimley); four nephews: Kurt Perry (Faith) and their sons Henry and Elliot, Spencer Maiden, Cole Moriarty, and Braden Moriarty. Lisa is also survived by Mike’s siblings: Judy and Curt Lohrmann of Carroll and Dave Walsh of Templeton.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents Paul and DeLoris Maiden, a niece Alison Maiden and a brother Christopher in infancy.
