No injuries and only minor damages to a vehicle were reported after it struck a building in Carroll on Monday morning. The Carroll Police Department responded to the 200 block of W. 4th Street at approximately 11:24 a.m. Seventy-year-old Patrick Wuestewald of Manilla was attempting to park a 2019 Chevrolet Colorado in an angled spot on 4th when he hit the accelerator instead of the brake. The truck jumped the curb, striking the building and causing some damage. Wuestewald was cited for failure to maintain control.
