Attendees And Host Of Underage Drinking Party Face Charges, Including Violation Of Emergency Proclamation

Ten juveniles and 12 adults were arrested and charged at an illegal party Friday in Rippey. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office reports they received a complaint at approximately 11:56 p.m. about an underage party in the 500 block of 3rd Street. Upon arrival, the 10 juveniles were charged with possession of alcohol under the legal age and with a department of public health violation. In addition, seven 18-year-olds from Perry and one from Rippey were arrested and charged with those same offenses: Fallon Heater; Angel Rivera; Jonathan Silva; Quincy Carey; Marco Ortiz-Navarijo; Marvin Sarceno; Mahammed Belarbi; and Arnold Ayala-Gomez. Thirty-eight-year-old Charity Snavely was arrested for supplying alcohol to persons under the legal age, permitting persons under 18 to consume alcohol on her property and a department of public health violation. Twenty-one-year-old Conner Embrey of Rippey and 21-year-old Nathaniel Pemberton of Des Moines were charged with a department of public health violation and 20-year-old Brando Burgos of Perry for that same violation as well as possession of alcohol under the legal age.
