Unofficial results are in for the local races out of Sac County with all precincts reporting. For the Republican State Senate District 6 nomination, Craig Williams collected 979 total votes compared to 543 for Health Hansen. The only other local contested primary in Sac County was for the Republican nomination for Sheriff. Incumbent, Ken McClure, secured his spot on the November ballot with 1,200 votes. Votes for his challenger, Lake View Police Chief, Royce Kemmann, totaled 721. All results are unofficial and will remain so until canvassed by the Sac County Board of Supervisors.
