The official report has come in about a two-vehicle accident last Friday night in Carroll, but we are still awaiting details on an accident occurring on Grant road Monday morning. On Friday, officers responded to the intersection of Highway 30 and Maple Street at approximately 7:10 p.m. Upon arrival, they learned 19-year-old Lauren McGuill of Carroll was westbound on Highway 30 in a 2011 Volvo S80. McGuill was slowing for stopped traffic when she was rear ended by a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 16-year-old Jake Ferneding of Wall Lake. No injuries and only minor damages were reported.
