It was just one part of our Good News over the past week, but the efforts to support essential workers across Iowa continues with special deliveries and words of thanks. Janelle Kracht, District 4 Field Manager with the Iowa Corn Growers Association, says they partnered with Casey’s Pizza and Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company to do this.
Kracht says they had to work with administrators at these facilities to coordinate the delivery and to ensure all protocols were followed. However, many of the employees were unaware that they were going to receive a special treat.
This effort is meant to convey gratitude to the efforts of those on the front-lines of the COVID-19 pandemic; however, Kracht says it is rewarding for those involved in presenting these tokens of thanks as well.
